Who We Are
We are an Anthroposophical Study Group, recognized by the Anthroposophical Society of America. The mission of the Anthroposophical Society of America is to "support the work of Rudolf Steiner in the United States."
We form circles and meetups to create avenues for Anthroposophical study, meditation, gatherings, artistic activity, and community support. Our community offerings are a weekly zoom circle, a monthly prayer circle, an annual Whitsun Festival, and a Holy Nights Meditation.
The Sophia Circle provides spiritual support for Spring River School, the Forest School, and a new Spring River High School initiative.
We strive to bring Foundation Studies in Anthroposophy and the Arts, workshops and retreats, and renewal courses to our community. We reach out to others through newsletters, social media, and - most importantly - human contact and relationships.
We are part of the Jacksonville Educational Community, a pioneering community of business owners, caregivers, teachers, and students seeking ways to connect with the wonders of the natural world and the evolving journey of being human. Jacksonville Educational Community, Inc is a Florida 501(c)3 non profit corporation.
We welcome your support. Please visit our giving & support page for more information.
OUR MISSION
The Sophia Circle's mission is to engage our community through open study groups and activities working out of the impulse of Anthroposophy.
OUR CHARITABLE PURPOSE
Through human engagement, study, and inner work, we hope to support and enhance the work of individuals, schools, non-profit organizations, small businesses, educators, parents and others.
Donations made to our organization further this purpose.
